Gex Plays Tokidoki Chess Club
Gex is back, baby! For this adventure, he hasn't been sucked into a TV show or movie, but a game! Specifically, the cult classic 1980s chess game / dating sim "Tokidoki Chess Club" (what, you don't remember it?). Revisit this seminal work in the hybrid chess/dating sim genre while also hearing from your favorite sassy lizard!
(So, it's just chess, but with Gex quips)

The Gex sprite is edited from a sprite ripped from the GBC port of Gex: Enter the Gecko
The music is titled "puzzle_game.wav" and came from a 400mb "SOUNDS.RAR" file on Itch.io, and I also used a sound effect called "Power Hit.mp3" from a download called "GB Sound Assets". Embarrassingly, I can no longer find the original itch.io download pages for either of these projects. If you created these, or know who did, please let me know so I can credit appropriately.
